Primary Hosting, a cloud-based brokerage, has acquired Mobile Agent Now, an agent review platform.

Speaking on the acquisition, Mark Jeffreys, the founder of Mobile Agent Now, said that this is opening up a new chapter for his company. He will be handing over operational control to Primary Hosting’s CEO, Christopher Brock, as part of the acquisition.

The choice to hand over power comes from the fact that Brock had been a Mobile Agent Now employee at the beginning of the company’s launch. He helped build the technology infrastructure and is someone Jeffreys trusts to hand over operational control to.

"Primary Hosting has been intimately involved in the building of our tech stack and business model from the beginning in 2017. Having the review response capability fall under their leadership will be a strong strategic fit."

Commenting on the acquisition and role change, Brock said:

"This acquisition fits right in with the breadth of services we currently offer with Primary Hosting. As the number of reviews continue to grow, we look forward to integrating this service into our cloud brokerage platform not only for our existing big-name brands, but expanding the platform to other companies in need of meeting the expectations of consumers online."

Other big acquisition news includes Adevinta acquiring classifieds giant, eBay, earlier last month.
