OverSixty.com.au and Downsizing.com.au Join Forces

August 3, 2020

The property portal Downsizing.com.au, which specialises in marketing properties to older Australians, has entered a partnership with popular news hub site OverSixty.com.au to bring its ‘premiere projects’ to a wider audience.

With 29% of respondents to the portal’s recent survey saying they are considering downsizing in light of Covid-19, the time was seen as the right one to partner with OverSixty. The partnership sees Downsizing’s top projects marketed through a section of the OverSixty site which has long been a popular destination site for older Aussies and which was previously owned by Fairfax Media.

Commenting on the partnership, Downsizing CEO Amanda Graham said:

“As unemployment rises and mortgage deferral periods end, downsizing becomes an attractive solution for an increasing number of people. As this downsizer market grows, we have now significantly extended our niche audience reach by partnering with OverSixty.com.au to feature premium property developments well suited to this demographic.”
