Idealista Buys Up Two Italian Agent Software Companies

June 28, 2020

Idealista has announced the purchase of two Italian software companies who both supply the real estate agent market. Gestim, based in San Benedetto del Tronto specialises in software to upload agents’ portfolios to portal sites and position their listings both on the portals as well as on google through ad campaigns. Miogest, based in the Northern town of Como, has several products including all in one agency management software, specialist auction software and website creation.

According to Idealista founder Jesús Encinar, the idea behind his company’s purchase of the two software providers is in line with Idealista’s commitment to provide the best technology and tools to its agent clients. Although headquartered in Spain, Idealista is a big player in the portal scene in both Portugal and in Italy and is gaining a real reputation for innovative technology having released several groundbreaking new user facing tools over the last couple of months. This latest move to diversify the company’s offering to agents in its Italian market may signal intent to look at similar moves in Spain and Portugal.
