Purplebrucks awarded 'Trusted Service' title by Feefo

Purplebricks was given the Trusted Service award, an award that is "an independent seal of excellence that recognizes businesses for delivering exceptional experiences, as rated by real customers," and the news is stirring up controversy.

Given controversies around the validity of some customer reviews, and recent allegations of Purplebricks’ encouraging reviews from staff members and their families in Canada, the award is likely to raise eyebrows in the UK agency industry. 

Reviews organization Feefo says its trusted service honor is “awarded to businesses that use Feefo to collect genuine reviews and insights.” 

Feefo says that over the past 12 months, Purplebricks has received in excess of 5,000 reviews with an average score of 4.1. Over 3,000 of these were five-star reviews. 

A statement from the reviews company, said:

“As all Feefo reviews are verified as genuine, the accreditation is a true reflection of Purplebricks’ commitment to outstanding service."
