REA Group announces Janelle Hopkins as its new CFO

REA Group Limited has announced the appointment of Janelle Hopkins as Chief Financial Officer.

Hopkins joins REA Group from Australia Post, where she has been Group Chief Financial Officer since 2013. In her capacity as CFO, Hopkins has been responsible for finance, risk and assurance, group real estate, treasury, superannuation and corporate development.

Hopkins is an accomplished finance executive with more than 25 years’ experience. Prior to Australia Post, she held a number of senior finance roles at National Australia Bank including financial controllership of the Australian region, MLC and strategic transformation roles within the Wholesale division. These diverse roles have given her a broad knowledge of all aspects of the financial services industry. Hopkins started her career with Professional Services firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she developed her passion for leadership, business transformation and growth.

Hopkins will commence in the role on 3 June 2019.
