SeLoger Integrates With Appointment Booking Platform, Plato

September 14, 2022

SeLoger has integrated with Plato.immo to automate its online appointment booking product, making the French portal the first in Europe to offer 100% online appointment booking.

Plato's technology has been 100% integrated in SeLoger's platform via a widget, allowing agent clients to book appointments from SeLoger listings at no extra cost.

Plato, founded in 2020, receives all leads from real estate portals and instantly contacts interested buyers to book a viewing appointment via SMS—a quality of life improvement SeLoger says will boost agents' conversion rates and reduce their manual workloads. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Fabien Patou, cofounder at Plato, said:

"Two years ago, when I was still an IT consultant and I was looking for an apartment to buy, I was surprised by how difficult it was to get in touch with real estate agents, who struggle to stay on top of the numerous phone and email requests they get from prospects.

"Plato is a solution that makes it possible to delegate all the administrative part of buying or renting a property to the searcher, thus relieving the professionals of the manual work usually required to progress deals."

Plato also prequalifies tenants by verifying their income and professional status to reduce workload, and lets owners reserve "visiting hours" for their property.

SeLoger is France's market leader in the real estate portal vertical, and is backed by Aviv Group, a subsidiary of Axel Springer.

However, its biggest competitor is leboncoin, a horizontal portal that recently launched a sales prospecting service that it expects to attract a majority of real estate traffic in France.

Meanwhile, BProperty, Bangladesh's dominant portal, has also updated its offering to allow users to book property visits online directly from listings, including picking a preferred date and time-slot.
