Morgan Philips Hudson, a global talent solutions company, is expanding its search and selection services for managers with the creation of a division specialized in IT and digital innovation.

The new line of business focused on the selection of profiles specialized in new technologies will help companies adapt and succeed in the new technological paradigm.

Alfredo Santos, CEO of Morgan Philips Hudson Executive Search, comments: "We are in a changing market and in continuous evolution in which companies need to reorganize their strategies and business models permanently, so we understand that it is necessary to accompany our clients towards this transformation - in this case in the digital and technological area."

Patricia Zamacola, who is leading this new division, adds: "The organizations are demanding very specific profiles that do not correspond to the training provided today by the universities, even in the STEM courses and other training centers. The demand and the offer do not fit, and in many occasions it is necessary to select taking into account the technical capacity of the candidates, and their adaptability to newly created positions. Technology has gone from being a "facility" to being at the center of most businesses, so it is essential to be agile in this organizational change and attract the best talent."

The new division of IT & Digital Innovation will address three major areas: Big Data and data processing to help companies to better measure and continue to grow, migration to the Cloud world and infrastructure that allows higher performance, cost improvements and security, and helping companies with the challenge of remaining safe in new digital environments through the different areas and roles that make up cybersecurity. It will also take into account profiles related to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, NLP (natural language processing), RPA, (automation of processes through robotization), 5G and IOT, blockchain or quantum computing, and other tech that will benefit strongly in the short and medium term.

Zamacola began her career focused on the startup world in companies with completely digital native ecosystems very focused on the digital area and e-commerce. Later, she joined the world of consulting as a consultant specializing in emerging technologies and complex profiles at a technological level. She studied Journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid, and has a Master's Degree in Communication Management and New Technologies from the ESIC business school.
