These Two Portals aren't Backing Down in Wake of the Coronavirus

March 30, 2020

News is changing and updating daily thanks to COVID-19, with companies coming up with innovative ways to keep up with the continued social shift. Two property portals are attempting the impossible by launching this spring despite the chaos surrounding this global pandemic.

OpenBrix and Homesearch both are keeping their plans for spring launches even with the expectation that the property market will continue to decline.

OpenBrix is looking to address the issues agents have with the industry's leading portals, while Homesearch's new portal has a goal to disrupt the industry through innovative technology.

OpenBrix's launch date has yet to be disclosed and Homesearch's new portal launch date is currently set for the end of May.

Other established portals are doing what they can. Free-to-list portal, Residential People, on to of offering its premium and advertising listings for free during this time, is also offering existing customers extended contracts. Its 'Featured Property' listing service allows agents the ability to exclusively advertise within a specified location.

Residential People has stated it has the estate agents in mind and is looking to support them in any way it can.

The future is, more than ever, unknown for companies and consumers, alike. The pandemic is continuously shifting the way companies are dealing with market crisis, revenue drops, and stunted growth. But there seems to be home thanks to innovation and flexibility measures companies are taking to support their communities.
