This week we're looking at beautiful villas in the country of Mexico, which boast a unique and colorful architecture style that spans across all categories we hit with these lists.
Mexico has sprawling beaches, from the ever popular Cancun to Puerto Vallarta. This villa sits atop a mini peninsula off of Costa Careyes, surrounded on three sides by the Pacific Ocean. Called the Casa Millas, the single family home offers five infinity pools, theater, gym, and separate staff quarters. There are six bedrooms an eight full beds, including three luxury guest suites and two en suite bedrooms.
Located in San Miguel, the Casa Campos de Lavanda is a pop of color nestled between the surrounding rolling mountains. There are a number of outdoor sitting and entertainment areas, including a hot spring pool, bar, and dining area. Next to the property, and where it gets its name sake, are lavender fields.
Staying in San Miguel, we came across this historic city building. This home is located on one of Centro's most prestigious streets and in walking distance from Parque Juarez. Built in the San Miguel Colonial style, it has five bedrooms and six full baths, a full garage and a separate casita with its own entrance. Terraces on two floors overlook an exceptionally large and beautiful garden with swimming pool.
This home, named Casa Privada de Baeza, has four bedrooms, each with en-suite baths. The common rooms include two interior garden spaces- one is a traditional colonial atrium with a glowing fountain, the other a more contemporary sculpture garden with outdoor sala.
Other amenities include a library, a pool, a garage, beautiful view of the nearby mountains, fireplaces, and terraces.
Hacienda El Molino is an old eighteenth century building, being the first regenerative electricity mill in the region. Surrounded by 200 years old trees, it has had few changes to its original construction.
Amenities for this particular villa include fireplaces, horse facilities, a courtyard, large car garage, mountain view, farm land, and ranch land.
As expected, Mexico provided beautifully colorful properties to match its equally beautifully colorful culture.
