Claire Cormier Thielke appointed to the Zillow Board of Directors

October 14, 2020

Back in September, Zillow CEO Rich Barton declared that the company would participate in The Board Challenge to fight with discrimination within the corporate sector.

Making good on that promise, Claire Cormier Thielke, the Managing Director of Hines Asia Pacific and a member of Stanford University’s adjunct faculty, has been named a member of Zillow’s Board of Directors.

Lloyd Frink, Zillow Co-Founder, Executive Chairman, and President, said:

“Thielke brings an incredible background in operations, innovation, and real estate financing that will be extremely valuable to the board as we continue to oversee transformational growth at Zillow.”

Thielke has many titles under her belt including current memberships on the Board of Directions for Memorial City Bank, Board Chair of Legacy Community Health, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Aspen Institute Society of Fellows.

Thielke is the first Black professional appointed to Zillow’s Board of Directors.

The Board Challenge was developed by Altimeter Capital, Valence Community, and theBoardlist, and calls for companies to rethink how they choose and who they name on their Board.
