Evoriel Group, a significant player in France's real estate services industry, has taken an undisclosed stake in the French portal Bien'ici.
The investment brings co-ownership trustee, rental management and insurance brokerage to the portal, and new entrants into Bien'ici's board of directors.
Evoriel's interest in the portal was deemed 'logical'; each of its services has existed on the Bien'ici platform for many years.
Cyril Janin, General Director at Bien'ici, said:
"We are pleased with the Evoriel group’s acquisition of a stake in the capital of Bien’ici.
"For almost 10 years, we have been working with all our partners, whether they are agents, agent networks, developers or real estate syndicates, to defend the interests of the profession , especially in a delicate economic context for all stakeholders. More than ever, with the arrival of Evoriel, we reaffirm that Bien'ici is the real estate advertisement platform created by professionals, for real estate professionals."
Karine Olivier, CEO at the Evoriel group, said:
"This acquisition of a stake in Bien'ici confirms our strategic positioning as well as our desire to offer modern, innovative and local solutions to our customers, to meet their needs.
"By investing in a real estate listings portal that revolutionizes the search for real estate with advanced technologies, we demonstrate our determination to remain at the forefront of the real estate services market in France.
"This initiative strengthens our value chain and allows us to cover all stages of our clients' real estate journey, from the search for properties to rental management and the transaction."
Bien'ici is a primarily agent-owned portal and is well-known for its usability. The portal has 38 search filters and partnered with the primary real estate comparison specialist Ikimo9 in November 2023. Bien'ici is the only one of France's major portals to restrict FSBO listings.
It is the third-largest portal in France, behind market leader SeLoger and number two, Logic-Immo:
