
Google is showing home listings again, with for-sale properties in several US markets showing at the top of search results on mobile devices. Listings show full property details and useful calls to action.
Properties in New York, Cleveland, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and San Francisco are all included in the experiment, and the properties appear to be coming from eXp Realty and CRMLS (California), one of the biggest MLSs in the country. The partnership with HouseCanary also appears to remain part of the experiment.
The internet giant previously showed listings directly on mobile search results in December 2025. BTIG, the financial services provider that operates HouseCanary, says the previous experiment was curtailed due to industry pushback for an alleged violation of rules that prevent brokers from advertising other brokers' listings. Listings show on a carousel, above paid-for advertisements, and links appear to go to HouseCanary's ComeHome platform.
The listings include three buttons to book a tour, find an agent, or 'ask a question'. These buttons direct consumers to buyer agents who pay for the placement.
