Ringier has agreed to sell leading property portal Nekretnine.rs to Indomio d.o.o., part of Real Web’s pan-European marketplaces network headed by Immobiliare.it, as the Swiss group sharpens its focus on core media assets in the country. According to a press release, financial terms are undisclosed, and all current Nekretnine.rs employees will transfer to the buyer.
Nekretnine.rs is one of Serbia’s best-known real estate portals and, as of early 2025, has been among the country’s most visited property websites, competing at the top of the rankings with 4zida.rs and general classifieds platforms such as Oglasi.rs. The asset gives Real Web a flagship Serbian portal to sit alongside its existing Indomio.rs and Srbija-nekretnine.org brands in the market.
For Ringier, the disposal fits a broader strategy of doubling down on digital publishing in Central and Eastern Europe. In Serbia, the company’s portfolio is anchored by Blic.rs, which commands a dominant share of digital news consumption and sits alongside a wider stable of online and print brands. Ringier also recently divested from its Kenyan real estate portal, BuyRentKenya.
“Real Web brings deep expertise in operating high-performing real estate marketplaces across Europe. This step allows Nekretnine.rs to grow within a highly specialised ecosystem, while we sharpen our strategic focus on media in Serbia,” said Jelena Drakulić Petrović, CEO of Ringier Serbia. “We’re convinced that Real Web is the right partner to take the platform into its next phase.”
Real Web already operates a string of leading portals across Southern Europe, including Immobiliare.it in Italy, Pisos.com and Indomio.es in Spain, Immotop in Luxembourg, Spitogatos in Greece and Nepremicnine.net in Slovenia, as well as Crozilla.com and Nekretnine.hr in neighbouring Croatia. Nekretnine.rs now becomes the Serbian flagship in that network.
“With its strong presence among both users and real estate professionals in Serbia, Nekretnine.rs represents a natural fit with our network of property portals across the Balkan region,” said Silvio Pagliani, Co-founder and CEO of Immobiliare.it. “By combining our technology and operational experience with the brand’s established local position, we aim to deliver even more value.”
In a LinkedIn post, Pagliani added that the deal strengthens the group’s presence in Serbia, where it is already active via Indomio.rs and Srbija-nekretnine.org, and confirmed that Nekretnine.rs will migrate onto the Immobiliare.it technology platform, which already powers Real Web portals in Croatia, Spain, Greece and Luxembourg.
