Swiss media group Ringier AG acquires Myanmar's MyJobs.com

Swiss media group Ringier AG has recently acquired Pyramid Solutions Co. Ltd., operator of Myanmar's premiere online job portal, MyJobs.com.mm.

In cooperation with its local partner Information Matrix Co., the Swiss company has plans to continue expanding in Myanmar after a string of local acquisitions like Duwun.com.mm, Marry.com.mm and Kalay.com.mm.

Robin Lingg, Head of International Marketplaces of Ringier AG says that the acquisition of MyJobs fits in with the company's portfolio. The group's current strategy is aimed at growing its publishing, directories and classifieds in the region.

With a presence across sixteen countries, Ringier AG specializes both in print and digital publications but also in digital businesses, mainly mobile and e-commerce services.
