More space for the digital channel in the Tecnocasa Group: through the subsidiary Tecnomedia, a network services company, the company has entered the corporate structure of the main Italian portal reserved for real estate professionals Wikicasa.it. The platform collects more than 10,000 active agencies, 600,000 advertisements published and more than three million monthly visits.

The portal was born in 2016 as a system project to differentiate and improve the work of professionals through digital, increasingly relevant in the process of buying and selling real estate. The agreement, finalized last December, led the Milanese group to have a 33% stake in Wikicasa's share capital, through a mixed capital increase and a stock purchase transaction.

"The first real estate search moves more and more on the digital front: now more than 75% of those who buy a house claim to have used the web and real estate portals to identify the desired property," says Alessandro Caglieris in a note, Executive Director of Tecnomedia. "Our goal is to provide our affiliated agencies with the best tools to do their job better, today more than ever professionals must differentiate themselves and offer their clients an increasingly innovative, transparent and omnichannel service."

Founded in 1986 The Tecnocasa Group begins as a network of franchised real estate brokerage agencies that are subsequently joined by credit brokerage. Through the creation of network brands and complementary branches of the company, the Group has grown over time both numerically and organizationally, with more than 3,300 agencies and 14,000 employees worldwide.

"The Tecnocasa Group's entry into the corporate structure strengthens our growth from a strategic point of view, such as a system project, and at the same time allows us to accelerate the development plan with significant investments in marketing and technology," says Pietro Pellizzari, Delegated Administrator of Wikicasa.

"We have the three main Italian real estate groups in the corporate structure and we have not abandoned the idea of allowing even the smallest operators to enter."

Pietro Pellizzari and Alessandro Caglieris also specify that the Tecnocasa Group's entry into the corporate structure represents a common investment to offer a higher quality service to the end customer.
