This new dating app allows singles to connect and book adventures together

December 7, 2019

This new app combines the modern appeal of a dating site with the love of wanderlust.

With the goal to make dating "safer and more fun", Fairytrail was created to facilitate adventuring and dating, offering a platform that allows those with wanderlust to travel and meet a special someone in the same trip.

What sets this travel app apart from the rest is that it focuses on the traveler first before switching gears to the destinations. To begin, users are matched with another traveler and make an initial connection, after that they are matched with recommended group tours. Users can video chat to get to know each other a little better and then can choose to book through Fairytrail to meet up with their matches at exciting destinations around the world.

Fairytrail

Fairytrail is both a travel and dating app, boasting the strongest safety standards from online to offline. All users must get approved before they can become a member of the platform and must present a government-issued ID when booking. Fairytrail safely bridges matched travelers from online to offline by booking them on group journeys hosted by Airbnb and Viator (part of TripAdvisor).

“We believe who you travel with is often more important than where you travel. Imagine not just knowing, but actually choosing who you travel with on a group tour. When time is more valuable than ever, who you spend time with is something we help users optimize for.”

— Taige Zhang, the Founder of Fairytrail

The app is designed to help those who are picky with who they date, explore the dating scene through a secure platform. By connecting single people to people outside their cities, Fairytrail can increase dating diversity and the dating pool size by 31 times for the average US dater, according to the company.

To begin this exciting and unique adventure, users only need to create an account on Fairytrail and match with another like-minded traveler. Matches unlock recommended adventures users can choose from. If the two matched travelers agree on any of the adventures, they are connected to chat. If there's interest, they have a month to book the adventure through the platform.

Fairytrail was developed to make dating more efficient, fun, and safe through increasing the dating diversity and dating pool size, reducing dating time and costs via video chats and providing a safe dating and bonding experience through group adventures.
