Wayra welcomes its new directors and presents future objectives

Wayra, Telefónica's network of open innovation hubs, has decided to renew three leadership positions "key to the European market" after appointing Bruno Moraes as Director of Wayra UK, Florian Bogenschütz as Director of Wayra Germany and Marta Antúnez as Director of Wayra Barcelona, ​​as reported by the company in a statement.

Wayra's focus on global talent aims to coordinate investments in startups, their global scalability, and the business development of the portfolio of more than 500 startups in the open innovation area of ​​Telefónica.

After the appointment of the three directors, they intend to achieve the objectives set, greater employability, intra-entrepreneurship and create an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The company is fully confident in the trajectory and vision of its new three directors, who have extensive and successful experience in startups and technology.

Currently, more than 130 startups are already doing business with the Spanish multinational and the goal is to increase the number to 200 in 2020.
