Recently, we reported Zoopla's agent signup numbers surrounding those choosing to sell through MMoA via the iamsold partnership

Aligned with similar news, the UK property portal giant has announced that more than 1,000 branches have joined its platform since March, bringing the total number of branches and new homes over 18,000, the highest in three years.

Andy Marshall, Zoopla’s Chief Commercial Officer said:

“Agents are driven by results and our track record of delivering improvements in product and technology, combined with our record investments in marketing and customer service are paying dividends, driving better, higher quality leads. We’re perfectly placed to support agents during this busiest pre-Christmas period for a decade and we’ve no doubt increasing numbers will continue to vote with their feet as we head into what promises to be a bumper New Year for the agent community.”

In fact, Zoopla is 50% larger, year-over-year, with 10,000 sales set to leak into the first quarter of next year. The portal has been focusing on offering its agent members with newly enhanced services that fit the need of current real estate professionals. It has put on a running series of webinars for developers and agents to better equip professionals for the uncertain 2021 market climate and enhanced contactless capabilities.

One newly joined agency had much to say about its excitement at joining the platform. Its Managing Director, Ben Hudson, said:

“Zoopla is a good fit for us as they are professional, they offer a deep understanding of the market and its trends, and they have a real appreciation of what agents need. Zoopla is straightforward, easy to use, and allows customers to get what they require quickly and easily. They also offer solid market insights that help buyers to make informed decisions.”

Other attractive news from the company that is helping it rake in agent attention is its recent partnership with Pinterest, where agents can easily create and share visually pleasing ads to help reach larger audiences through Pinterest's huge member base.

Zoopla is really showing that it's capable of rolling with the punches, having shown resilience within the last year while others struggled to cope with the downturn of traffic and sales thanks to lockdown procedures throughout the country, and agents are noticing.
