As OpenBrix prepares to officially launch, offering UK estate agents MLS capabilities in line with US real estate practices, Matt Fetick, a professional within the industry who runs a Keller Williams program in Delaware and Maryland, is praising the UK challenger.

MLS converts home appraisals into listings while offering more referrals and higher fees.

Adam Pigott, CEO of OpenBrix says:

“The revelation that UK agents are leaving so much money on the table because they are not embracing MLS to the benefit of both the customer and themselves, is particularly exasperating given the revenue uncertainties that the industry may face in a post-stamp duty holiday world.

“Our proposition is unique and designed to help agents directly – helping them earn more and not just taking from them as may be familiar where other portals are concerned.”

MLS is a popular model in The States. It’s compiled of a network of over 800 platforms where brokers can share information on properties they have listed. MLS better promotes listings for sellers, offering better exposure than they could get otherwise. When it comes to the benefits buyers see with MLS, with this model, they are offered a huge network of information and only need to work with one broker to access it.

OpenBrix will be the first platform in the UK with MLS, according to the startups CEO. The goal is to create an extensive web of brokers swapping information like in the US to help save time and money for everyone involved in the buying and selling process.
