TBS Business School to move to the 22 @ technology district of Barcelona

Due to the growing demand of the school, "The expansion of spaces was essential," said the entity in a press release.

TBS Business School opened its current facilities in 2008 at a 3,300 m2 premises located on Trafalgar Street.

Since then it has seen up to 600 students pass through its halls each year, being one of the most dynamic educational centers in the city center. When the 22 @ campus opens, TBS Business School in Barcelona's ability to host new students will almost double.

"Following the specifications of the ecological architecture, responsible and sustainable, the space will consist of 8,000 m2, which will accommodate 1,100 students from all over the world."

The plan for the new campus of TBS Business School in Barcelona was developed with a firm eye on the future and the educational needs of the new generations. The building positions the business school at the epicenter of the start-up ecosystem and the knowledge economy that represents 22 @.

Around 18 professors and researchers will be located in the new TBS spaces, and focus their activity on two objectives: strengthen the development of programs linked to the main strategic activities of the Barcelona region and contribute to the production of research related to the main territory challenges.

Surrounded by young companies that predict a promising future, point of concentration, attraction and talent generation

The district is consolidating itself as an economic and technological engine. According to Xavier Monzó, President of the 22 @ District Association, 50 percent of technology companies in Spain are based in 22 @.
