To help Parisians move out of Pais, PAP.fr is launching a large-scale ad campaign offering three examples of how users can publish listings on its site to entice those looking to move.

PAP.fr has done a number of studies on the French market and consumer behavior and has found that, like many other markets around the world, the French are looking to move away from large metros thanks to an uptick in remote work due to the pandemic. They’re shifting their priorities when it comes to a home and bigger is definitely better. Requests for purchase housing exploded in 2020 compared to 2019 by 34.1%. And among them, houses are the most sought after (58.2%).

PAP.fr also found that when it comes to dream locations, 89.7% said rural areas and 73.7% said small towns.

This is a 180 for the French market, and the turnaround happened in just 10 months. Parisians, in particular, are realizing that they no longer need to living close to their workplace and are looking to spread out, totally flipping the market and making real estate portals and agents, alike, scramble to keep up with the shifting consumer behavior.

De Particulier a Particulier, or PAP.fr, is among the first real estate sites to offer advertisements for the rental and sale of real estate between individuals for the French market. PAP offers ways to list apartment rentals, house rentals, lofts rentals, houses for sale, and apartment sales. Listings are updated regularly in order to provide users with optimum service. These three new ways to list are just another way for PAP.fr to prove that it’s ahead of the curve when it comes to delivering the French industry-leading services.
