Bjorn Sprengers has left PropertyGuru after nearly ten years with the company.

Sprengers played the part of CMO for six years before transitioning to Managing Director Fintech in February 2019.

Sprengers oversaw PropertyGuru's growth from annual revenues of $20m to $140m during his time at the company, and was a key figure in the Group's expansion into market-leading positions in multiple Asian markets including Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. He was part of the team that floated PropertyGuru on the New York Stock Exchange in March of this year.

Sprengers will return to his native Netherlands with his family before pursuing new roles.

Hari V. Krishnan, CEO of PropertyGuru, said:

"Sprengers and I have worked together for over six years now and have navigated many highs and lows as a team.

"I am very happy for him and his family as they start a new adventure. Importantly, he leaves behind a solid legacy in the form of two teams of gurus who are loyal, hardworking and data-oriented. I thank Sprengers for his leadership, his passion for the company and his partnership."

PropertyGuru has begun the recruitment process for Sprengers' successor, while Ian Tan has taken over as VP of Marketing for PropertyGuru's marketplace business in the interim.

PropertyGuru recently announced a brand repositioning exercise for its B2B services, while the Group recorded a 47% revenue boost in its Q3 results posted in November.
