IE Business School and Spanish real estate portal Idealista have announced their collaboration on a training program aimed at boosting professionalism in the real estate sector.

The program will provide commercial teams with the necessary skills to analyze the market context, competitors, and clients. It will also help them to understand the potential of their product portfolio and implement appropriate sales processes for each type of property while taking full advantage of new technologies and digital tools.

The course is aimed at professionals in the real estate sector who need to truly understand the market. The faculty includes highly experienced professionals from companies such as Aedas Homes, BBVA, Google, Idealista, Savills, and Haya Real Estate, among others.

It will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions, with one class per week over two months, from May 26th to July 14th, 2023.

According to Pedro Bécares, Director of Advanced Programs in the Real Estate Sector at IE Business School:

"This program will equip you with a 360-degree understanding of the strategy for the acquisition, analysis, valuation, and commercialization of any real estate product, adding differential value to the transaction. This is the time to take a step forward in your training, anticipating clearly to your competitors."

Many real estate portals around the world have offered training programs as a way to engage agents with their brands. For example, in October 2022, British portal OnTheMarket announced a similar scheme.
