Central American horizontal platform Encuentra24 has announced that it has officially arrived in El Salvador. The Panama headquartered regional leader, which counts leading property vertical casas24 among its offering, has chosen to expand to a new country 4 months after entering an historic agreement with OLX which saw the two regional rivals join forces.
OLX had previously been present in El Salvador and indeed the world-famous brand’s URLs are still well-positioned in Google for El Salvador related queries. All of these are now redirected to Encuentra24’s El Salvador page with the company’s property brand Casas24 also setting up shop in the country.
Marketing in Encuentra24’s new territory will be via a campaign featuring three ‘sell it all’ characters who use the platform to easily sell their wares. The marketing is to appeal to both private and professional sellers as Encuentra24 looks to corner both the goods market as well as the more lucrative car and real estate markets.
