Australian industry-backed real estate portal, Homely.com.au, has entered a new sponsorship agreement with the Professionals Real Estate Group.

Commented on the sponsorship, David Webb, Homely’s Head of Industry, said:

“Professionals is such a sizeable well-respected group within the industry with strongholds in many large regional hubs as well as top-performing offices in various Australian CBDs.

“Homely is delighted to be aligned with such a successful and far-reaching real estate group.  I’m sure Professionals’ agents and customers will benefit from this sponsorship over the  next 12 months and beyond.”

Webb explained that the combined presence of both entities will only strengthen Homely’s presence within the country- a move that works in-line with Homely’s recent REIWA partnership. Homely has a goal to take on the big two, a driving force for signing an agreement with REIWA. Now that it has Professionals in its armory, the momentum is staying strong.

Webb said:

“This sponsorship will provide massive value for Homely this year. It affords us the ability to  regularly engage with the Professionals 225+ strong network across Australia and New  Zealand to further Homely’s mission to provide an affordable industry-backed real estate  portal to the masses.”

Homely isn’t the only one getting a good deal out of the sponsorship. It brings with it its own array of benefits. As Webb explained, it was the only real estate group to get full stars in Canstar Blue’s 2020 Most Satisfied Customer category. And the fact that Homely is backed by the industry means it’s a perfect pick for Professionals.

David Crombie, CEO of Professionals, said:

“Professionals are excited to partner with  Homely this year. Having been involved in the real estate portal space for many years, I  think there’s a need for more options for the real estate industry and consumers alike.

“Homely’s association and industry backing was part of the decision when choosing to promote Homely to the network. We hope that the association will provide a platform where our people are recognized as the true real estate experts within their local markets and help to extend their reach to more Australians.”

This isn’t the only big sponsorship news down under. Last week, we reported that realestate.com.au has been chosen to sponsor REIA’s annual National Awards for Excellence 2021, turning what was once a rivalry into a mutually beneficial partnership.
