Indian Portal MagicBricks Rolls Out Tenant Screening Service

June 9, 2023

MagicBricks has launched a tenant screening service called Know Your Tenant (KYT).

Using KYT, MagicBricks has promised homeowners that they will get verified tenants that negate common risks including non-payment of rent, criminal activity and litigation.

KYT ranks prospective tenants based on information available via public records, and MagicBricks says matchmaking will be up to 20% faster.

Meanwhile, MagicBricks has also launched a tenancy guarantee service whereby owners can commission MagicBricks to find tenants within a pre-defined time limit, with MagicBricks liable to pay $600 in compensation to the owner if it fails to beat the deadline.
