This week's Product Roundup starts in Asia, where Beike has been busy...
Beike has unveiled its 'Pudding AI' house-hunting assistant At the 2025 Hangzhou housing and real estate exhibition.
Pudding is built on Beike's massive real estate data, full-network search capabilities and DeepSeek understanding and reasoning technology. The assistant can integrate housing information for users, generate intelligent replies, help users converge their needs, and help users efficiently complete house hunting. Importantly, it will perform certain agentic tasks and give suggestions based on analysis.
Another AI launch was 'Sheniu', an end-to-end home improvement tool including design, final touches, and smart decoration.
Beike also showcased several other features, including a 'Worry-Free Rental' tool with segments such as an AI smart housekeeper and a property management system. Interestingly, Beike also suggested it will invest in smart construction sites
Peng Yongdong, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Beike, said:
"Looking ahead, we are confident in the long-term development of the company under the ‘one body and three wings’ strategy and will continue to invest firmly in AI applications."
Meanwhile, Beike has repurchased $10 million worth of shares and postponed its AGM.
Iranian marketplace Divar says that its new map feature has significantly increased conversions after two months of activity.
Divar claims users who have accessed the map were 50% more likely to take next-step actions (such as booking a property viewing) than users who only used typical search filters to perform a search.
The company said 75% of surveyed users said the map feature improved their search experience. Users highlighted transparency of location, proximity to the workplace, and ease of use as key differentiators for their positive feedback about searching on map. However, the feature was criticised for not showing exact locations.
Sepehr Choubsaz, Map Team manager at Divar, said in a company statement:
"Our goal was to go beyond simply displaying ads on the map. We wanted to create a smart, accurate, and reliable tool that would give users real choice and make it easier for them to find a property. Now the user can find exactly the property they want anywhere in the city and spend their time reviewing the options that are truly suitable."
Zillow Rentals is integrating EliseAI, an AI-powered conversational assistant, into its platform.
The chatbot is expected to go live by the end of Q3, with functionality designed to serve both renters and property managers.
For renters, EliseAI will answer questions about pricing, availability, amenities, application processes, and fees. The tool can also schedule property tours, issue reminders, and store all interactions in the Zillow Renter Hub for future reference.
Michael Sherman, SVP of Zillow Rentals, said:
“We want to make it even easier for renters on Zillow to get the information they need right when they need it, something no other rental marketplace is doing today.
“It’ll be a smarter, faster experience for renters and a more efficient way for property marketers to connect with serious leads.”
EliseAI is a third-party AI platform used across the housing and healthcare sectors. Commenting on the integration, Minna Song, Co-Founder and CEO of EliseAI, said in a prepared statement:
“We’re excited to be working toward a partnership with Zillow that would bring EliseAI’s industry-leading conversational AI to the very place where today’s renters begin their search: the listing itself.
“Together we will empower property owners and operators to work more efficiently while giving renters the seamless, on-demand experience they expect.”
Matterport's editorial team has penned a sponsored post on Inman saying that 3D property tours are better than 360-degree walkthroughs.
Matterport led with precision as a key differentiator for virtual 3D tours, saying:
Real 3D tours don’t just capture a space visually; they digitize it completely, allowing viewers to explore height, width and depth with precision. Unlike 360 walkthroughs — which rely on stitching flat, panoramic images together and lack spatial accuracy — true 3D tours use advanced infrared-equipped cameras or AI to measure and capture the physical environment.
The result? Immersive, to-scale models that offer a seamless, lifelike experience of walking through a property.
The post went on to highlight that partnering with Matterport can also lead to higher selling prices: Matterport stated, "homes listed with 3D tours can sell for up to 9% more, and close 31% faster."
The company advertised its Digital Pro $219 package that included photos, floor plan, videos and a 3D tour.
Iris Porto, Head of Product at LeBonCoin, has confirmed that Leboncoin is preparing to automatically write real estate ads using AI.
Speaking on the MonPodcastImmo, Porto stated that since the start of June, individual and professional users will have access to an AI-powered writing assistant. It will generate a listing description based on several criteria.
Porto said the tool will "prevent errors and save valuable time, especially when listing multiple properties."
Jitty has announced another "world first" feature in the form of search by photo. Users can upload a photo to Jitty, and Jitty will return similar-looking properties.
According to an email, Jitty said:
A few months ago we launched Vision Search, so you could search the UK property market by describing what you wanted to see (think: “green kitchen” or “views of the sea”). We've doubled down and we're launching Search by Photo.
Now you can upload a photo and we’ll show you homes that look like it. Things like a Georgian doorway you walked past, a listing you loved but someone else snapped up, or a Pinterest kitchen you're obsessing over.
Upload the photo. We’ll find the closest match. Yes, this is the first time you’ve ever been able to search for homes by uploading an image. It’s kind of magical.
