Rentec Direct, a property management software developer, has entered a strategic partnership with a cash payment network to enable tenants to pay rent in cash

Rentec Direct, an industry leader in property management software solutions, recently announced it has added a new cash payment feature to its property management software. Powered by a partnership with electronic payment provider PayNearMe, the Rentec Direct Cash Payments feature allows landlords and property managers to accept rental payments in cash via the Rentec Direct platform.

"At Rentec Direct, customer feedback and requests are translated into continuous updates to our software platform to improve user experience," said Nathan Miller, President of Rentec Direct. "As the number of tenants who prefer to make rental payments in cash increases, our goal is to make life easier for both tenants and landlords with the ability to accept cash payments while using our software."

The Rentec Direct Cash Payments feature allows tenants to make rental payments in cash through PayNearMe's network of participating retail store locations. With more than 20,000 storefronts across the country, tenants can pay cash at a convenient neighborhood location using a payslip, or login to the tenant portal via Rentec Direct's Resident Connect mobile app and use the barcode provided. The Cash Payments feature also ensures that each landlord's online payment policy is respected, including balance requirements.
