"The expertise of Rialto Recruitment will be the basis for strengthening Proman in the field of executive search and headhunting because Rialto Recruitment is the first executive search office in the Proman group," says Patrick Van Lijsebetten, Managing Director of Rialto Recruitment NV.

Rialto Recruitment has a connecting role Rialto Recruitment, specialized in engineers, scientists, PhD and technical profiles that started in 2001 under the name 'Atlantae', sees its future assured. With 18 years of experience in executive search, recruitment and selection, and offices in Science Park Niel and C-mine Genk, CEO Patrick Van Lijsebetten had plans for a third office with a focus on the French-speaking market.

"That's how I came in contact with Roland Gomez, Jr., 2nd generation and owner of Proman, who will be celebrating their 30th birthday as a family business in 2020," says Patrick Van Lijsebetten. Rialto Recruitment - the name referring to the bridge in Venice - wants to play a connecting role between client and candidates, and moreover to build a bridge between universities and companies.

In France, Proman is the fourth largest player in terms of interim contracts of indefinite duration. The group has 380 offices and is active in 9 countries. In Belgium, these are LEM Intérim with five offices in Wallonia, and Proselect in Liège and Mont-St Guibert, and now Rialto Recruitment. More than 45,000 people are employed via Proman every day. In 2019, the group will exceed the 2 billion euro mark. Proman has the ambition to open at least 15 offices per year through growth or acquisition. Proman was the main sponsor of the European Football Championship in 2016. FIFA has appointed Proman as the official recruiter for the "FIFA Women's World Cup, France 2019".

Proman and Rialto Recruitment are on the same wavelength

“I am now 60 and my children are not immediately interested in taking over the company. But as an entrepreneur I am committed to my employees and concerned about the continuity of the company. When Proman showed interest in a participation in Rialto in autumn 2018 in order to become active in Flanders, I accepted the proposal. As a co-shareholder, I will remain Managing Director and I will share my knowledge in executive search with Proman," says Lijsebetten.

Third office Rialto Recruitment will soon open in Brussels It is the express intention of Proman to further grow Rialto. In the meantime, the name 'Rialto Executive Search' has been registered for senior management and management profiles. In February Rialto Recruitment opens a third office on the Avenue Louise in Brussels.

Patrick Van Lijsebetten concludes: “Many corporate headquarters are located in Brussels. We also want to specialize in higher-educated administrative profiles in HR and finance. The further growth of Rialto Executive Search is also due to the expansion to other segments and sectors. This is absolutely essential, because we cannot afford to take candidates away from our customers. A fourth and perhaps fifth office in East and West Flanders are planned for the end of 2019 / beginning of 2020."
