Hotel management software developer RoomRaccoon purchases software provider Vuursteen

Recently announced, hotel management software provider, RoomRaccoon B.V, has acquired Vuursteen B.V, another software developer, for an undisclosed amount. RoomRaccoon plans to use this take over to continue its international hotelier expansion.

Based out of Breda, Netherlands, RoomRaccoon  provides a full-service software solution for B&Bs and independent hotels, while also offering to track guest preferences and organize reservations made on all booking channels.

The firm develops innovative cloud-enabled hotel software for independent hotels in both Europe and South Africa. Launched in 2017, RoomRaccoon's software is offered as SaaS, connecting with a list of booking platforms including Booking.com and Expedia. It's software organizes all aspects of reservations within a hotel, among other things.

RoomRaccoon's goal is to provide a complete, efficient, and affordable software package for its customers, both locally and internationally.

The firm won the Breda Startup Award in 2018 thanks to its scalabiliy and economic impact.

Vuursteen B.V is a notably older software provider, having been founded in 2003. The firm specializes in developing customizable web applications. It is this service that inspired RoomRaccoon to buy. Vuursteen's specialized customized PHP will help RoomRaccoon strengthen and optimize its product for the various markets the company serves.

Vuursteen will continue to finish up back-end projects for their current customers while the take over is in process. No other projects will be accepted by the team at this time.
