Spain's Factorial acquires €2.8 million in funding to expand

HR software startup based out of Barcelona, Spain, Factorial, has recently secured €2.8 million in funding from Creandum, Point Nine Capital, and K Fund.

The company is planning to use the capital injection to expand from Spain to other European markets.

Aimed at SMEs with under 200 employees, Factorial’s cloud software suite is there to take care of payroll, employee contracts, and work management. It also facilitates work counselling and flexible compensation plans and benefits.

The objective of Factorial is to simplify the management of human resources in small and medium enterprises. Above all the task done by the HR manager, some of them are repetitive - for example, when sending payslips to each employee or every time that a new employee joins the company. On this type of tasks, Factorial's software can offer a great value for the manager.
