The Singapore-based portal operator PropertyGuru has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, outlining key progress across its decarbonisation plans, inclusive listing tools, and consumer-facing sustainability initiatives.
Among the most tangible platform updates is the growth of the 'Everyone Welcome' feature in Singapore. The feature allows landlords and agents to label rental listings as inclusive, signalling openness to all tenants regardless of race or background—a response to persistent housing discrimination issues in the country’s rental sector. According to the report, the number of listings one in four rental listings now carry the tag.
Cécile Corda, Head of Sustainability at PropertyGuru Group, said:
“The demand for sustainable and inclusive housing is growing, and at PropertyGuru, we’re responding with actionable
solutions. By equipping property seekers and real estate stakeholders with the tools to make informed, sustainable choices, we’re helping to build cities that are not only resilient but grounded in principles of inclusivity, driving meaningful change in the housing market."
A press release also highlighted the expansion of the Everyone Welcome feature to PropertyGuru's Malaysian portal and the release of a 'sustainable living' filter on the group's Thai portal DDProperty as well as the continued adoption of the company's 'Green Score' rating for residential listings in Singapore.
