Everyday challenges for those buying their first home highlighted in Realestate.com.au's new marketing campaign

The tongue-in-cheek, educational video series stars comedian Jess Harris of twentysomething fame, who advocates for women to strive for their property goals.

The five-part video series, written by and starring Harris – twentysomething, Wine – irreverently explores the everyday frustrations that come with the home buying journey; from escaping ‘Instagram moments’ to daunting bank meetings and trying to maintain the avocado lifestyle while saving.

Harris said: “This campaign is about being honest and unfiltered, speaking directly to women looking at entering the property market by themselves for the first time. As a single, thirty-something woman myself, I wrote exactly what I would want to see and hear.

“I hope that by acknowledging, in a humorous way, that the property journey can be bumpy, young women will feel empowered and motivated that they can actually pull this house buying thing off!”

Created in partnership with Melbourne production agency, Glue Content, the series was shot over two- days at various locations around Melbourne and aims to create awareness in market for realestate.com.au Home Loans in a fun and engaging way.
