5 Dream Houses: Greece

For this week's 5 Dream Houses series, we travel to the country of white cliffs and cerulean seas. Greece is our next destination and it wasn't easy selecting only five houses, the market is chock-full of beautiful villas, mansions, and apartments with stunning views and unique architecture. 

When beginning our search for the most beautiful homes in the country, we knew to start with beachfront properties and we were not let down. In fact, picking just one was almost impossible. Yet, we persevered and found this detached house in Mykonos. 

Sporting natural rock accents both outside and inside, this nine-bedroom home offers a jacuzzi in the bathroom and a private pool, 8 guestrooms with over 50 sq.m. of space each, with one of them also enjoying a private pool, raising the total number of the residence’s pools to three.

Traveling to a more populated part of the country, this apartment is located in the heart of Athens, Greece, surrounded by cafes, boutiques and designer stores. The interior looks like it jumped right out of a Baroque painting, embellished from glossy wooden floorboards to the trey ceilings.

Staying within Athens, we found this lavish and modern gated home. The entire exterior is white, a common architectural element in Greece, but the inside is contrasted in dark colors and marbles. The look isn't the only thing this 5 bedroom home has to offer, it also sports heated floors!

This modern beauty mimics the ancient Grecian architecture. Located in Vouliagméni, the entire property is divided up into three homes connected by a number of walkways.
