Fiverr expands with new London office opening

Fiverr, major global freelance platform, has recently announced the opening of its first UK office in London. This move will be part of its European expansion plans.

The opening of the London office is part of a larger plan by Fiverr to expand in Europe, with an office in Berlin also being opened.

The two new offices will operate alongside the company’s Tel Aviv headquarters as well as offices in major US cities New York, San Francisco and Miami.

The decision to open a UK office comes as freelancing gains popularity across the country, with the Office for National Statistics reporting an increase of self-employed workers from 3.3 million people in 2001 to 4.8 million in 2017.

Fiverr CEO, Micha Kaufman explained: “Europe is Fiverr’s second largest market behind North America yet the potential opportunity to unlock more of the market segment there is huge.”
