Generali has selected Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to optimize the digital transformation of its human resources branches in Spain.

Generali Spain, a subsidiary of the Italian insurance group of the same name, is one of the main insurance companies in the Spanish market where it serves more than three million customers - individuals and companies included. It currently boasts one of the office networks with the greatest presence in Spain, with about 1,600 customer service points.

The adoption of Workday HCM is based, as explained by the technology company, is due to "its ease of implementation compared to other traditional solutions, which will allow the insurer to have a single people management system that unifies, facilitates, and streamlines processes."

Among the key reasons to select Workday? The technology highlights the improvement of transparency and reliability of information for decision-making in relation to equipment, saving time by simplifying some day-to-day tasks and speedy, automated processing that allows businesses to centralize their HR management in a cloud-based system.

"Generali bets on the transformation of the company's Human Resources function towards People & Organization, a formula to manage the talent that is spreading throughout the company, putting the employee at the center of all processes. Employees will have at their disposal all their work data to help them with their career progression."

Alberto Ogando, Chief People, Organization Officer, Generali

Explaining further, Ogando adds, “Dashboards and strategic reports allow us to have an overview of resources and processes, saving time and simplifying tasks. All this makes Workday the ideal partner to achieve this transformation and that our employees have a ‘wow’ experience.”
