CoStar Group has appointed Steve Price as its new President for Ten-X, CoStar's digital commercial real estate auction platform.
Ten-X operates as a separate brand, but auctions will remain on CoStar and LoopNet. CoStar Group also plans to relaunch the Ten-X website, with bidding functionality available directly on the site.
Price joins CoStar Group after 12 years in senior leadership roles at Auction.com, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Foreclosure Auction Services.
Andy Florance, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CoStar Group, said:
"Steve has spent his career building and scaling disposition and auction businesses, and he knows this space as well as anyone in the industry. Ten-X is an innovative digital auction platform, and brokers and sellers who use it benefit from great underwriting, strong marketing, a proven digital auction process all backed by a massive buyer audience. Ten-X is an important and valuable part of CoStar Group's future roadmap and success. With Ten-X as a standalone brand and a dedicated leadership team focused solely on the opportunity ahead, I am highly confident in our ability to innovate, reimagine the product, grow revenue, and regain share in the online real estate auction space."
