This week's roundup starts with a surprisingly transparent launch in Sweden...
Sweden's challenger portal Boneo has added a transparent view of how consumers are interacting with its marketplace.
Users can now access real-time statistics on how many people are viewing properties on Boneo's portal. Users can track new listings and receive alerts for new listings matching their preferences.
A post on the company's LinkedIn page said:
Today we are launching our completely unique service - Visningstempen. The service makes it possible for real estate agents, home sellers, home buyers and other interested parties to follow how many people are attending home viewings around Sweden now. [Translated from Swedish]
According to the newly available figures on Boneo's website, over 46k people are viewing properties per month, with 9.3k home viewings and 5 people per viewing.

Plus Group, which operates the Samolet Plus network of offices in Russia, has expanded its use of an AI assistant in its contact centre.
Samolet says its AI now handles 65% of incoming calls for listings posted on online bulletin boards, answering queries 24/7, connecting buyers with agents, and creating digital files on the company's platform. Meanwhile, call processing takes just 45 seconds.
Olga Tsygankova, head of Samolet Plus's Contact Centre, said:
"We see that AI in the contact center has become more than just an experiment, but a fully-fledged tool for improving service quality. Customers want to get a quick answer and immediately connect with the right agent, without waiting or unnecessary clarification. AI solves precisely this problem: it identifies the object, understands the ad the customer is calling from, creates a call card, and forwards the call.
"This is a faster and more convenient process for the customer, fewer lost calls for the agent, and more opportunities for the network to convert incoming demand into a sale. To launch call automation, we implemented a customized SIP telephony integration: this scenario is currently unique to us and takes into account the specifics of our network and contact center processes."
Redfin has announced a partnership with Winnie—the largest marketplace for childcare and early education in the U.S.—to bring local childcare information to every for-sale home listing on Redfin.
Home searchers can now view daycare and preschool options for every listing on Redfin, including distance from the property, reviews, financial aid information, staff certifications, and other key data points.
The data has already been added to Redfin's desktop and mobile websites, and is coming to the Redfin app in September.
Ariel Dos Santos, Chief Product and Design Officer at Redfin, said:
"When you're buying a home, you're also choosing a neighborhood that works for your family. For parents and guardians, finding childcare is a big part of that decision. Bringing Winnie's childcare information directly to every listing on Redfin makes it easier to see what options are nearby while you're looking at homes, instead of having to search for that information separately."
"Housing and childcare are two of the most important pieces families with young children have to solve, and both can vary dramatically from one city to the next," added Sara Mauskopf, Winnie Co-Founder and CEO.
Redfin, powered by Rocket, recently added climate data to listings thanks to a partnership with The Weather Company—including ZIP code-level weather information on precipitation, snowfall, temperature, humidity and UV index.
The home services marketplace Angi has added its app to Google Gemini, allowing users to find service providers through natural-language search.
Angi's marketplace connects homeowners and home service professionals, while the company's AI assistant is able to translate user prompts into service requests for tradespeople like carpenters and plumbers.
According to the company's press release, half of homeowners use AI when using Angi, with AI-aided users converting to a paid gig three times more often than users who do not use AI.
A post on the company's LinkedIn page said users can "ask about remodelling costs, roof timing, or anything else, then move seamlessly into matching with a skilled local pro on Angi."
Angie Hicks, co-founder at Angi, said:
"Whether they begin in Gemini or directly on Angi, we’re building AI into the core homeowner experience to create a seamless path from asking a question to confidently completing a project."
