Here are the people moves we spotted this week...
Nicholas Parkin has been appointed Vice President of Product at Germany's market-leading real estate portal, Scout24.
Parkin has been at the company since 2019, and most recently held the position of Director of Product for Immoscout B2B.
Commenting on LinkedIn, Parkin said:
"I’m incredibly grateful to the many leaders (especially Steve Molloy, Dr. Gesa Crockford, Ralf Weitz, Nicolas Cheron, Gertrud Kolb among many others) who have helped shape my career and put their trust in me, and to my team today and the teams I’ve worked with along the way. None of this would have happened without them."
Mayank Jain has been named as Magicbricks' new CEO.
According to a post on the company's LinkedIn page, Jain will oversee Magicbricks' next phase of growth—"focused on accelerating our core businesses, deepening AI and data capabilities, strengthening trust and transparency for consumers, and building stronger partnerships across the real estate ecosystem."
Jain's previous leadership roles include roles at CarDekho, Network18, Star TV, British Telecom and Samsung.
Jain replaces Sudhir Pai, who left the company after 15 years earlier in 2026.
Founded in 2006, Magicbricks is one of India's biggest names in real estate. The company took a majority stake in the immersive visualisation provider PropViz in December 2024, and previously reported favouring an IPO this side of 2030.
In May 2025, NAR-India told its members to boycott Magicbricks until it apologised for videos that misrepresented brokers' role. The boycott ended in September 2025 after the portal took corrective steps.
