There are more ChatGPT integrations in this week's Product and Services Roundup...
The Turkish real estate portal Hepsiemlak is the latest name to join ChatGPT for real estate search. In a post on the company's LinkedIn page, Hepsiemlak said:
"With this application, we are proud to be the first and only platform that enables real estate search in Turkey through ChatGPT.
Our users can now write their needs naturally; It can search for real estate in Turkish, English and many different languages. In addition, they can evaluate their options much more easily by examining the advertisements on the interactive map.
This project, which was implemented to make the real estate search experience smarter, faster and more accessible, is also an important step in Hepsiemlak's work in the field of artificial intelligence." [Translated from Turkish]
Hepsiemlak competes against the likes of Emlakjet and Sahibinden in Turkey.
Rightmove has announced that consumers can now search for properties using ChatGPT after testing the product in recent weeks.
In a post on the company's LinkedIn page, Rightmove said users can find Rightmove in the app section of ChatGPT to "begin your search, before heading to Rightmove to refine your search."
Rightmove becomes the latest of several high-profile marketplaces to introduce an app integration with ChatGPT, a list that includes Scout24 and Kleinanzeigen in Germany, Redfin, Zillow and Zumper in the United States, Leboncoin in France, Hepsiemlak in Turkey, and REA Group in Australia.
Idealista has become the latest major portal to plug itself into ChatGPT. The company says the app covers its inventory across Spain, Portugal and Italy, with ChatGPT able to surface photos, prices and descriptions for homes, rooms, garages, commercial units and land that match a user’s request.
The move puts Idealista alongside a growing queue of portals experimenting with OpenAI’s new app ecosystem, after similar launches from ImmoScout24, Zumper, Redfin, REA Group and Leboncoin in recent weeks.
OnTheMarket, part of CoStar Group and the third largest real estate portal in the UK, has signed a deal with Connells Group, the country's largest agency group.
OnTheMarket will add circa 100,000 properties to its portal as part of the agreement. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Jason Tebb, president at OnTheMarket, said:
"Our partnership with Connells Group marks a major milestone for OnTheMarket. Joining forces with the UK’s largest estate agency group is a significant achievement and a clear endorsement of the direction we’re heading. It reflects the investment, focus and energy put into the business since CoStar Group acquisition, as well as the dedication and hard work of our team. We’re absolutely committed to becoming the number one portal, and this partnership is a decisive step towards that goal."
HOMING IN, a 'one click' property search app that identifies properties for sale and rent independently of having a physical board on the premises, has launched a national advertising campaign driving users to its offering.
The HOMING IN app displays for-sale and to-let properties on a satellite map with links to the full details on the agent’s website. Users can view available homes nearby in real time and on the move.
Corin Ashbee-Waugh, founder at HOMING IN, said:
"Estate agents across the UK can now benefit from a low-cost—even free—marketing platform aimed at the tech-savvy consumers of today, receive enquiries direct through their own websites, and have a virtual for sale or to let board on every property.
"We have both free and chargeable models, but unlike the portals, who charge by the office, our rates are based on the number of available properties an agency has, with an entry level of £15 a month for up to 50 properties, each with a branded board, with a ‘no-price-rise-for-three-years’ and never more than 10% of Rightmove guarantees.”
According to the company's website:
Discover suitable homes with our virtual for sale and to let boards wherever you are and wherever you go.
HOMING IN gives you immediate visuals of the three most important pieces of data—location, price and size—with one click direct access to the full details from those best informed to help.
No more endless searching, changing criteria, switching back and forth between search results and essential information. Just instant results showing the location, price, size and setting of available homes, with one-click direct access to the property detail pages on the estate agents' own websites.
South Africa’s MyProperty is testing whether house-hunters are ready to talk to portals instead of tapping through filters, rolling out a new voice search feature on its revamped consumer site. The self-funded portal says users can now refine searches and results in natural language, including follow-up prompts such as removing filters, narrowing homes by size, or finding similar listings in an area below a certain price point.
MyProperty is pitching the tool as part of a broader product push on its unified MyProperty Africa platform, which also includes draw-a-search, travel-time search and smart local insights. MyProperty says its model can be trained on difficult local place-name pronunciations and could evolve into a more context-aware assistant over time.
