Student recruitment platform Debut welcomes James Bennett as new CEO

Student and graduate platform based out of London, Debut, has recently welcomed James Bennett as its Chief Executive Officer.

Well-acquainted with the recruitment technology landscape, his appointment comes with more than 20 years in the digital space and is part of Debut’s wider strategy for growth.

Prior to eFinancial Careers, a leading recruitment technology firm, where he held the position of Global Managing Director, Bennett held the CTO position with Virgin Wines, building on his origins in technical and operations roles for the likes of UBS and thestreet.co.uk.

“Having been fortunate to work for some of the leading recruitment technology players in my career, I am really excited to join a business that is disrupting an entire sector of the market,” said Bennett.

“Debut has already made a great start and we see a fantastic opportunity to continue scaling aggressively. As a parent of two teenagers about to enter the world of work, this mission couldn’t be closer to my heart.”
