This week's Product Roundup is a fun one, featuring education hubs and hackathons. We'll start in Asia, where Lifull HOME'S has some good traffic to talk about...

Asia: Lifull HOME'S Boosts Traffic with New Build and Off-Plan offering

Lifull HOME'S revamped its real estate and housing information service in January, launching a new website for custom-built homes that includes information on model homes and showrooms, as well as a function for making viewing reservations.

The website redesign led to a 53% increase in traffic to its model home list and a 62% conversion rate after launching a new segment for new properties.

According to Lifull, traffic peaked in January and has remained steady since. The company's rival, Suumo, also has a similar offering, but only Lifull offers an online reservation.

A news announcement said:

This renewal completely revamps the site's navigation to maximize the use of the abundant information on the Model House Details Page.

"A new Search by Model House button has been added to the top page, which serves as the entry point for consideration. This allows users to instantly access the "Model House/Showroom List" tailored to their area and specific criteria.

The greatest feature of our information listing page is that it brings together a diverse range of construction companies, from major house builders to local contractors, in a flat, unified manner. Users can compare and consider various options on the site, making it easier to find a partner for building their dream home and preventing concerns such as 'there might have been another company that was a better fit for us.'

Each model home page features numerous images and detailed specifications. This complements the catalog's attempt to convey the "actual home" image, enabling highly accurate comparisons and evaluations. You can schedule a viewing only after you are fully satisfied, preventing mismatches during your visit. By comparing information and making your selection yourself, you can proceed more smoothly to negotiations.

United Kingdom: Zoopla adds landlord content hub for self-managing landlords

Zoopla has rolled out a new renting guide that will be promoted to millions of renters and landlords across the Zoopla website, as the British number two portal looks to support landlords affected by upcoming legislation changes starting in May 2026.

This is supported by a new series of tailored articles for landlords that agents can use to help win new instructions, designed specifically for the 80% of private landlords who don’t use an agent to manage their rental investments. The content is designed not just to educate Zoopla’s landlord audience, but to provide letting agents with ready-made resources to share across their own social and marketing channels.

Rich Hayes, Chief Operating Officer at Zoopla, said:

"The Renters' Rights Act is the biggest shift in rental legislation in a generation, and it creates a genuine opportunity for agents who offer management services to grow their business. With the majority of private landlords still self-managing, the new regulations present a great opportunity to make the case for using an agent for professional property management. Zoopla reaches 4 in 5 landlords and renters, and we've invested in content that not only helps them navigate the changes, but gives agents the tools to start those conversations and win more high-quality instructions."

The Renters Rights Act changes significantly this May. Rent increases will be limited to once a year, and rent in advance will be capped to 1 month’s rent, while ‘no-fault’ evictions will also be banned.

Europe: Daft.ie launches a new Agent Education Hub

Daft has launched an agent education hub, providing free training modules, interviews and video guides for agents seeking support in their day-to-day life.

"Unlock your potential with training and agent-led insights with the Education Hub". Four offerings are advertised on the landing page: a training hub, an agent insight hub, a product demo hub, and a webinar hub (marked as 'coming soon').

Speaking on LinkedIn, Marcus Hartwall, general manager at Daft.ie, said:

"We are excited to announce our new Agent Education Hub to better support agents across Ireland. This has been asked for by agents across the country and the industry bodies. Helping agents run their operations more effectively is fundamental to what we do."

Oceania: REA Group invites customers to its 'Hackday' events

REA Group is offering customers an opportunity to immerse themselves in its flagship innovation event, Hackdays.

The Hackdays customer initiative is part of REA’s Advantage AI program, helping customers cut through AI noise and focus on real‑world applications. The event is open to Residential, Commercial, New Homes and Media customers.

REA customers from across the country are invited to submit an innovation-focused idea or business problem for the chance to have it selected as a dedicated Hackdays project. Customers will work alongside expert REA innovators and technical specialists during the four-day sprint event, turning their bold ideas into prototypes and working solutions in a matter of days.

Gerard Connell, Executive Manager for Sales at REA Group, said:

“Hackdays offer dedicated space to innovate, stress-test ideas and solve problems, and the concept is core to the workplace culture at many digital businesses.  Past REA hackday projects have helped lay the foundations for features and experiences that our customers and consumers now use every day. Our self-service customer platform, Ignite, was first created at an REA Hackday and it’s now used by almost 50,000 real estate professionals across the country.

“This year, we’re excited to take it a step further extending the invitation to customers to help co‑design and co‑build solutions with us. Reimagine it is a core REA value, and Hackdays offer a great opportunity to partner with our customers to change the way the world experiences property together. Our customers are on the ground every day, and they know better than anyone where technology, particularly AI, can be used to remove friction, improve client experience and unlock new opportunities for their business.
