Christophe Rousseaux, the founder of leading Belgian property portal Immoweb, has invested close to €1 million euros in the real estate software firm Apimo to accelerate the company’s international growth. The investment comes through Rousseaux’s newly minted investment company Akiles, founded in 2019 in conjunction with several investment professionals to fund and support companies with strong growth potential. Speaking about the funding, Rousseaux said:

"Having followed the development of apimo since it launched in 2008 and being convinced of its relevance for real estate agents, I had no hesitation when Nicolas (Guillaud de Saint-Ferréol), founder of apiwork and majority shareholder, offered me to join his capital to help with their international expansion"

Since its foundation in 2008, Apimo has become one of the major proptech players in its native France and has set up offices in several countries including Tunisia, Italy, Luxembourg and Belgium and its solutions are now used by some 10,000 agents worldwide. Apimo’s parent company Apiwork also has involvement in Southeast Asia with Laotian marketplace site Yula.la and Cambodian property portal Realestate.com.kh.
