Property management developer raises £250K in funding

UK-based property management platform, Rent Chief, has recently raised £250,000 in funding.

Backers included the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund – managed by Mercia and part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, along with a number of private investors. As part of the deal, Jon Whitmore, the former CEO of TrigoldCrystal, has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman.

The company intends to use the funds to bring its product to market, launch a sales and marketing campaign, and create a number of new positions.

Rent Chief offers a number of services to help property managers organize and optimize their real estate assets, including tools to help the property investor make the most from their portfolio and potential new purchases, solutions to ensure properties are fully compliant and satisfy new regulations, and aid in solving financial service needs and continually review mortgage and insurance products
