British Challenger OneDome to Offer 'Guaranteed Buying Service' Through Partnership with Spring

March 29, 2022

The British challenger portal operator OneDome has announced that it is to offer a 'guaranteed buyer service' in partnership with the homebuying and part-exchange specialist Spring.

The partnership will allow agents who list on OneDome, or its sister portal Nethouseprices, to offer Spring's chain-repair or part-exchange services to their clients and in doing so earn a referral fee and the right of first refusal to sell the house for Spring down the line. The products are designed to fix transaction fallthroughs where several sellers are contingent on one another as well as meet the needs of vendors in need of a quick sale.

In a move similar to how Zillow and Realtor.com generate leads for their agents through iBuying and power buying partnerships, OneDome has also announced that it is working to create a panel of selected agents called 'Premier Agents' to whom it will offer exclusive access to properties for sale by Spring and other partners.

Babek Ismayil, founder and CEO of OneDome, said: “Our mission is to make homebuying simpler and faster for everyone involved. We believe that this partnership will help to unlock additional transactions and revenue for our estate agent partners, while helping customers who have specific needs and requirements.”

OneDome is a free to list portal that has moved towards an integrated end-to-end transaction model over the last few years. The portal generates the majority of its revenue from selling vendor leads which charges a success fee and is an optional product for agents.

The portal also generates revenue from its recently released HomeBuyer product which includes mortgage brokerage, complete legal service and fall-through insurance and is marketed to vendors for an all-inclusive fee.
