Welcome to this week's People Roundup, starting in North America...
CoStar Group has appointed Jaume Molet as Vice President of LoopNet Europe, effective July 2025.
Based in London, Molet joins the commercial property platform following an extended tenure in Mexico and brings international leadership experience to the role. The appointment aligns with CoStar’s continued investment in its European marketplace operations.
“The pace and energy across the company are striking,” Molet said. “Despite its scale, CoStar retains a startup-like ambition and culture of collaboration.”
LoopNet is an online marketplace for commercial property, providing property listings and marketing solutions for property owners. Loopnet Europe has listings in major cities including London, Edinburgh, Paris, Madrid and Madrid. Its North American counterpart covers cities such as New York City, Montreal, San Francisco, Miami and Washington, DC.
Cian, the Russian real estate marketplace, has named Artur Sarkisov as general manager of its secondhand property division, according to a report from Sostav.ru. Sarkisov previously served as CEO of SberMarket, the e-commerce platform affiliated with Sberbank.
In his new role, Sarkisov will oversee strategic development across several core areas, including resale residential listings, long-term rentals, and commercial property. The secondhand real estate segment is Cian’s largest business line, serving as the primary channel for search and transaction activity on the platform.
His mandate includes enhancing Cian’s market position, rolling out new services, and optimising user and partner engagement. Sarkisov said his focus will be on improving usability and comprehensiveness across the platform. Cian noted that his background in digital commerce and online services is expected to bring new capabilities to its resale property operations.
Sarkisov’s earlier roles include director of regional development at ride-hailing platform Gett.
