Property portals everywhere are seeing the increasing need to offer more of their offline solutions through their platforms to accommodate those who are in quarantine.

MyHome.ie is an Irish property portal that is following the trend. The company has announced that it will be offering a live-stream feature for home tours called MyHome Live

With this new service, agents can give their clients a live viewing of a prospective home that the clients can watch from anywhere, ask questions, and get answers in real-time.

This feature is set up to benefit both agents and their clientele in a number of ways:

  • Outside of supporting social distancing, live streaming offers agents a way to build their reputation and build a stronger relationship with their clients
  • Save time and energy when it comes to travel and dealing with no-show buyers.
  • Offer a new way for clients to view a house, effectively building agents’ sales story
  • Share the live stream with clients’ family members and friends
  • It’s free!

We’ve reported a number of times, how Matterport’s 3D rendering cameras have flown off the virtual shelves, how big-name portals are jumping at the chance to kickstart virtual tours, and how startups are breaking into the market with their virtual tour capabilities. MyHome.ie has officially joined the fray.
