Domain Announces Traffic Surge And Updated Advertising Functions

November 20, 2025

Domain Group has announced a record month for web visits in October 2025, up 46% from the same month last year.

Traffic across portals, including Domain, allhomes.com.au and commercialrealestate.com.au, hit 55.1 million visits for the month after CoStar Group more than doubled marketing investment in the weeks following its billion-dollar acquisition of the Domain Group earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Domain has rolled out several product enhancements since CoStar came into the frame, including a simplification of its search function, improved property data, and better visual presentation of properties.

Domain also took the opportunity to announce a rollout of a better advertising experience for consumers, and will remove all third-party and non-property advertising from its suite of platforms, to deliver a cleaner user experience for agents, home sellers and home buyers.

Jason Pellegrino, president at Domain, commented:

"Australians and agents have been hungry for choice. Our platforms are delivering record growth because people are responding to what we stand for, a professional and modern property experience. Our record visits and double-digit growth in listing views show we’re building a quality audience at scale. We’re not chasing gimmicks. Our focus is on deliberate, high-impact improvements that respect the trust Australians place in Domain to present their homes professionally, and that deliver strong campaign performance for agents.

"Australians deserve an experience focused entirely on property. Vendors should expect that a portal will showcase their listing – not sell against it with unrelated products or competing offers. Our industry needs to move beyond short-term, ‘penny pinching’ models that erode trust and detract from the quality of the property campaign. Consumers don’t want the clutter, and vendors shouldn’t expect it
