Encuentra24 Signs Deal with Local Realtor Association to Cement Position in El Salvador

January 20, 2021

Leading Central American marketplace site Encuentra24 has signed an agreement with the Salvadorian Chamber of Realtors. The deal will see the classifieds operator sponsor events put on by the organisation and will see local member agents given exclusive deals on listings packages on the company's sites.

Despite a position of some dominance in the region after its merger with OLX in July, Encuentra24 only expanded its operations to El Salvador towards the end of 2020. Both parties were reportedly optimistic about the signed agreement according to the local press, with Encuentra24 co-founder Boris Metraux commenting that the people of El Salvador would now have access to a platform which would allow them to feel secure in their property transactions.

Back in December we discussed the topic of expansion to new markets, and specifically El Salvador, with Encuentra24 co-founder Wendy Jordan as part of our 'Property Portal Watch en español' virtual conference. If you missed it, you can catch the video on our YouTube channel here.
