The French general classifieds marketplace Leboncoin is set to revive one of its real estate assets, less than a year after announcing that it would be sunsetted.
Leboncoin purchased A Vendre A Louer (For Sale For Rent) in 2017 before announcing the business's closure in February.
AIM Group reported that the revamped platform offers an AI-enhanced experience in three languages, better filters, an interactive map, performance tracking and data-rich listings across energy performance, location and price estimates.
Jean-Adrien Hocquemiller, director of commercial and strategic development at Leboncoin Immo, said:
“We had stopped using it to concentrate our resources, particularly technical ones, on the development of Leboncoin Immo. However, we had not ruled out relaunching it one day. For real estate professionals, it combines the power of LeBonCoin with an even greater volume of content and qualified leads, as well as the ability to reach an international clientele.
"A Vendre A Louer speaks to everyone, and there was a clear demand for its return. We are thrilled about this major comeback, which features a completely reimagined and highly specialized experience."
Professionals can still manage and publish listings via the LBC Immo service, with eligible listings then being distributed to the A Vendre A Louer platform.
